Cover Supervisors
£90-£105 per day dependent on experience and qualifications - 8:30 till 3:30

Opus Education are seeking Cover Supervisors to work in number of Secondary schools in the St Austell area.

The role of a Cover Supervisor involves being the responsible adult in the classroom, taking the register, talking through the tasks set by the teacher you are covering and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

To be able to motivate and encourage students to achieve their goals, maintain focus and ensure the room is left tidy at the end of the lesson with resources books etc are away.

What do we need?

Be adaptable, organised and be able to deal with an ever-changing day

Experience working with young adults in a school or college environment

Be comfortable managing the behaviour of teenagers

Can work flexibly

Looking for someone who is patient, kind, and able to adapt to different situations

The successful applicant might be an overseas trained teacher, experienced cover supervisor, NQT Teacher, hold a degree or a teaching assistant with HLTA looking to take a step up.
