Marks Sattin are currently working with a Thorpe Park, Leeds based business within the Retail sector for the role of Purchase Ledger clerkResponsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for handling all supplier queries in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Assisting with the checks on our own web orders to prevent any fraudulent transactions from being processed and assisting in the weekly processing of payments to suppliers.
- Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Resolving invoice queries from the wider business, e.g. in respect of approval routes, invoice details, etc.
- Report to Purchase Ledger Manager
- Daily contact with all departments (including to Director level) regarding the status of activities on the invoice approval systems, payment authorisations, payment issues and queries raised
- Regular contact with suppliers to maintain a positive relationship
- Key Finance contact for all new suppliers.
- Liaise with all members of Finance department and with Directors
