During this period City has made significant investments in its academic staff, its estate and its infrastructure and continues to work towards realising its vision of being a leading global university.

Background:

The City Law School is the first in London and the only in the University of London to educate students and practitioners at all stages of legal education.

It has a professional education pedigree that dates back over 100 years.

The School has made significant advances in both research and education and seeks to build upon that success to become one of the UK's leading law schools as it takes advantage of the new regulatory landscape for legal education.

Responsibilities:

The post sits within the Quality & Student Experience team of the City Law School, which is responsible for programme quality assurance and student experience processes in the School.

You will be responsible for monitoring student attendance and engagement, providing advice on academic engagement processes, and working proactively with students not engaging with teaching and learning.

You will work with the Student Experience Officer, Student Welfare Officer and Academic Advisors to support students, including students from under-represented groups as outlined in our Access and Participation Plan.

You will have a key role in breaking down barriers to engagement by signposting students to appropriate support services and ensuring Student Support Plans are appropriately implemented.

Person Specification:

Please see the job description and person specification document for full details of the role.

Additional Information:

City offers a sector-leading salary, pension scheme and benefits including a comprehensive package of staff training and development.

Closing date: 13th November 2023 at 11:59pm.
Interviews will be held on 28 November 2023.

City, University of London is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in all its activities, processes, and culture for our whole community, including staff, students and visitors.
