Blackburn


Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000


Working Hours:
Monday - Friday (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating shifts)

Maintenance Engineer

**Main Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer
- *
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM's) safely along with reacting to production breakdowns.
  • Assist in the management & control of engineering stocks/tools/equipment and ensure all is documented correctly.
  • Full understanding of all machinery and equipment workings onsite.
  • Ensure all company machinery H&S guidelines are followed through thoroughly
  • Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures
  • Carry out inspections to fully resolve any discrepancies
  • Carry out planned maintenance as agreed with production
  • Repairing equipment and reducing down time
**Experience and Skills required

  • Atleast 3 years' experience of proactive/reactive maintenance work (preferably within a manufacturing/engineering industry)
  • A Proactive attitude to troubleshooting machinery and equipment
  • Engineering qualification in either Electrical/Mechanical
  • A solid understanding of technical aspect of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical biased experience
