Job Title:
KS1 Teaching Assistant


Location:
Tameside, UK


Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Competitive, based on qualifications and experience


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring a high standard of education is provided

Support pupils with their learning, including those with special educational needs and disabilities

Help to create a positive and stimulating learning environment

Provide support for pupils during small group and one-to-one sessions

Help to assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing feedback to the class teacher

Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' progress and development


Qualifications and Experience:

Experience of working in a primary school setting, ideally with KS1 pupils

A relevant teaching assistant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant award

Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well as part of a team
