About the role

The Brokerage Team at West Northants Council Broker care packages for Adult Social Care Services that ranges from Residential, Respite and Community based Care, Supported Living, Supported Accommodation and Support at Home in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and Council policy.


The role itself will require the Brokerage Officer to manage their own referrals, this includes engaging and communicating clearly with internal and external partners as well as work closely with the Team Leader, Senior and colleagues to ensure that outcomes are met.


Brokerage falls in line with Part Flexible Working Policy, this means that you will need to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week.

What will you be doing?

The role of the Brokerage Officer is to Broker care packages for Adult Social Care Services that ranges from Residential, Respite and Community based Care, Supported Living, Supported Accommodation and Support at Home, to do this you will have a range of providers that you will build good working relationships with and working closely with our Quality & Commissioning colleagues to ensure that positive outcomes are met.

About you


You will need a positive outlook, be good at finding solutions to problems and adapting to working in a fast-paced role and busy environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy of work is crucial.

The role requires you to be operational as well as transactional so IT skills are essential.


You will need previous experience of working independently and the have the ability to prioritise your own work, while being collaborative and supportive of colleagues.
