What's in it for you:


We are seeking to recruit permanent driver with a responsible and caring attitude to assist in Adult Day care transport in the Wareham Area.

What you will be doing:

Applications are invited from people living in the Wareham area.
The hours of work could vary but are usually approx. 4 hours a day Monday to Friday split shifts morning and afternoon, transporting to and from the day centre

Vehicles you will be driving will be a 17 seater mini bus or smaller.

About you:

You must but must have a category D1(101) or D or D1 on your driving licence.
To have had experience of working with the elderly/ Adults with learning disabilities.


To convey passengers safely to and from their homes and other establishments, in accordance with the route schedule (with or without the assistance of an escort) having particular regard for their comfort and particular disability.

to be physically fit enough to push wheel chairs and secure them in vehicles.


Additional Information:

DBS check for adults and children will be done as part of the recruitment process.

A driving assessment will need to be undertaken as part of the interview.
