Description
The Stores Supervisor reports to the Indirect Procurement Manager.

The Stores Supervisor will direct and monitor the day-to-day store activities, allocate work to the team, and verify outputs to ensure internal customer requirements are met, both in terms of quality and quantity.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Accountable and responsible for all activities within the stores including stock control.
  • Proactively handle the processing of all incoming stock and ensure it gets captured with accuracy and within a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all stock counts and its variances.
  • Ensure the coordination and performance of the team are maximised.
  • Ensuring that the team's operations/activities comply with strict HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Attribute towards maximising site productivity and decrease downtime.
  • Expedite current and overdue orders to ensure the continuity of the business objectives.
  • Process GRN's daily.

Qualifications & experience:

Essential:

  • Experience within a similar role with at least two years' experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate to all employees at all levels within the company.
  • Must be able to operate heavy plant equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Gogetter who is well organised and resilient.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team.

Desirable:

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
