About the role:


This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Chartered Financial Planner, closely supporting a seasoned Associate Director with a substantial portfolio of high-net-worth clients. As a Chartered Financial Planner (or nearing this status), your primary responsibility will be to offer top-tier tax and lifestyle financial planning services to Attivo's clients. By establishing enduring client relationships and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and compliantly, you will drive new business opportunities and bolster the firm's expanding client base. Furthermore, you will serve as a representative of Attivo, upholding our core values and corporate ethos within the industry.
At Attivo, we fully endorse hybrid work environments, with provisions for both remote work and flexible schedules. You will be based in our Cheltenham office, with a mix of office-based work, remote work, and client visits across Gloucestershire/Midlands/Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Formulate personalized financial plans for clients using cash flow modeling and SMART objectives.
  • Deliver the 'Attivo service' ensuring clients feel prioritized.
  • Attend client meetings, provide financial advice in collaboration with the Associate Director, and make recommendations aligning with clients' financial goals.
  • Uphold compliance procedures to safeguard the company and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on product, technical, and regulatory knowledge in the financial sector.
  • Ensure transparent disclosure of advice process and charges to clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial situations and future objectives.
  • Ensure recommended solutions are appropriate and clearly communicated to clients.
  • Adhere to AML regulations and produce suitability reports promptly.
  • Follow up with clients and providers to ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Meet all regulatory obligations during client engagements.
  • Assist in addressing any complaints, whether internal or through external services.
  • Maintain high-quality files and compliance standards.
  • Maintain records of continuous professional development and stay abreast of industry advancements.
  • Proactively seek and establish partnerships with new clients.

About you:

You should be a seasoned Financial Planner, preferably Chartered or on the path to attainment. With a robust background in catering to high-net-worth clients, possessing CAS status, and seeking a client-centric role emphasizing long-term relationships. Effective communication skills, influencing abilities, and a knack for building trust with clients are essential. You should be adept at working under pressure, managing priorities, and collaborating within a team.
Essential skills and experience

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional service and advice.
  • Accredited Financial Planner with the CII.
  • Chartered status or near completion.

Salary and benefits
Competitive salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience, in addition to a car allowance.
