Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support an adult female with complex care needs.


We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their family.


Our service user is currently residing in a Wythenshawe Vent Unit and requires a dedicated care team to help transition her back to her home in Salford.

This role will be to support her throughout the day and night on a 2:1 basis.


Her friends and family are a big part of her everyday life, with her friend visiting daily and her daughter staying over regularly.

She loves spending time with those around her

Being pampered and enjoying girly time is something she loves to do. She enjoys getting her nails done, going shopping, and playing bingo with her friends and care team.

Other hobbies include watching tv and films and eating delicious food with those around her.


She is looking for her team to be there to help assist with her clinical needs and to also be involved in social activities.

Having similar interests would be desirable.


Your daily duties will be to assist with personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, assisting meal preparation, and carrying out clinical interventions.

This could include tracheostomy support and ventilation management with oral suctioning.


Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months of previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

  • Spinal Injury Awareness
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation management
  • Diabetes management

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time
  • 24 hours per week
  • Days
  • 7am7pm
  • Nights
  • 7pm7am

Take a look at our pay rates

Weekdays:
£13.00 per hour - (£156 approx. per shift)

Weeknights:
£13.50 per hour - (£162 approx. per shift)

Saturday:
£14.00 per hour - (£168 approx. per shift)

Sunday:
£14.00 per hour - (£168 approx. per shift)

Bank Holiday:
£17.00 per hour - (£204 approx. per shift)
