_ The Role:

In this role, you will lead and develop the commercial contract strategy for Oxfam with a focus to grow this funding stream, operationalise the implementation of new commercial contracts and framework agreements, and build capacities across Oxfam to successfully implement commercial contracts and framework agreements.


_ What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in tendering for and/or implementing large commercial contracts funded by FCDO, World Bank, and others, either for non-profit or for-profit organisations. This includes strong knowledge of the regulations and procedures of major institutional donors.
  • Strong understanding of contractual and financial management principles and systems applicable to various contracts and subcontract types, including but not limited to cost reimbursement, time and material, fixed price, framework and performancebased programme management.
  • Clear thinking and sound judgementable to manage competing demands, make effective decisions under pressure and think creatively to come up with solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrated ability, tact, and sensitivity in working across institutional boundaries, business units, and teams in an effective and productive way.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to develop excellent working relationships and practices that enable various internal stakeholders to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence various stakeholders.
