Pastoral Lead - Secondary School

Are you an experienced Pastoral Lead or a Teaching Assistant who is an aspiring pastoral lead? This dynamic secondary school is looking for a proactive, energetic and compassionate Pastoral Lead who has previous experience supporting children and young adultswho have encountered social and academic barriers.

As a Pastoral Lead at this school, you will be joining an experienced pastoral team, that has recently been recognised for their success in helping students to reengage with education.

This role requires an individual with strong behaviour management skills,excellent communication skills and a passion for helping young people to overcome the everyday obstacles that they may face.


Job Role:

  • Providing behavioural support across Key Stage 3 &
  • Delivering 121 intervention sessions focused on improving behaviours and personal development
  • Effectively communicating with parents, carers and outside agencies
  • Working with a small team of experienced Pastoral Leads to provide outstanding support
  • Attending safeguarding meetings with the DSL and safeguarding team
  • Ensuring that students are supported effectively across Key Stage 3 & 4
