Are you an amazing person who wants to make a positive difference to the children, families and Early Years Settings across Bedford Borough?


The number of children known to the Early Years Support Team is increasing so we are seeking one more awesome person into our well established, friendly and specialist team.

You will be confident in your knowledge of child development, have awareness of specialist strategies to support children with SEND and be an excellent communicator.

The job involves working with a Multidisciplinary Team so you will be organised and forward thinking to get the best outcomes for the children with whom we work.


No two days are the same so you will need be able to prioritise work, attentively listen, give confidence, teach others, and maintain relationships and records.

The role will involve travelling to observe and advise Early Years Settings, leading individual teaching sessions and offering bespoke training and support.

Alongside working with the children, you will possess strong IT skills as you will be required to type reports and manage online meetings on a very regular basis.
