Description

The Acute Cardiac Care UnitatHarefield Hospitalis currently seeking a polite, courteous individual to join our team as a ward clerk.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm and 12pm - 8pm, some Saturday shifts will be required each month.

We have elective admissions and a very active 24 hour emergency admission pathway, 7 days a week.

  • Work with all members of the multi disciplinary t
  • Meet and greet patients and their relatives
  • Take telephone enquiries and escalate if required
  • Update IT systems to ensure data is accurate and up to date
Training will be provided in relation to the role advertised.

In house and on line study days available to employees relevant to the role.

Familiarity with the use & workings of IT systems would be an advantage, though training will be provided.
