Full Time Baby Room Lead:

The Baby Room Lead is responsible for the overall supervision and management of the baby room. This includes ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in their care.

The Baby Room Lead will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the baby room, including scheduling, staff supervision, and parent communication.

The nursery is based in the Golders Green area of Barnet. The nursery have been rated as 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The inspection comments 'Children arrive and are warmly greeted by staff at this large, well-resourced nursery. Staff teach children important personal values, such as kindness, well across the nursery.'

As the Baby Room Lead, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Baby Room.

You will oversea a team of staff members and ensure that all health and safety procedures are being followed at all times.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct care for infants and toddlers
  • Lead the team in the baby room ensuring the safety of the children in the room
  • Develop and implement ageappropriate activities for children
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Communicate with parents about their children's progress
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Administer medication and treatments as needed
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 in Childcare or related qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing highquality care for children
