Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

Provide support and assistance to individuals with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
Assist with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping
Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social and recreational activities
Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any concerns or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the wellbeing and safety of individuals

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Registered with the SSSC (desirable)
Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
