The Opportunity


We're seeking a highly talented and motivated Global Head of Talent Acquisition who will be responsible leading and managing the talent acquisition function on a global level.

This role requires a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, talent market trends, and technology platforms to deliver top talent to the organisation worldwide.

In addition, you will be responsible for the delivery of a global onboarding strategy that ensures all new hires have a positive and seamless experience from acceptance of the offer through their first day.

This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, global employment legislation compliance requirements, and effective communication skills.


Key Responsibilities
As the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for:

  • The delivery of the global Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with our business objectives, brings our EVP to life in the market and delivers top talent to the organisation.
  • The delivery of a global Onboarding strategy that ensures a consistent, compliant and effective Onboarding experience for all new hires.
  • Collaborating with HR professionals, hiring managers and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain recruitment and onboarding plans and materials that align with LRQA's culture, values and business objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Managing external vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service level agreements and contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with country specific employment laws and regulations related to Talent Acquisition and Onboarding.
  • Developing and maintaining reporting and metrics to support effective decision making and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Lead a global team and talent acquisition and onboarding professionals, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to support continued professional growth.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to ensure equitable TA processes and increased diversity at LRQA.
  • Work closely with the business to build talent pipelines through early career opportunities, job fairs and industry events to address recruitment challenges for critical roles.

Skills and Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience leading a global talent acquisition function successfully.
  • A robust and strong knowledge of TA best practice, market trends and technology platforms.
  • An awareness of HR best practice, compliance requirements and effective communication strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with an ability to build and lead highperforming teams.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with a focus on attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and to work to implement suitable solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
