Finance Assistant


We are working on behalf of a leading manufacturer who require a Finance Assistant to join their team in Mallusk on a permanent basis.


Your new role as a Finance Assistant

  • Accurate and efficient processing of the purchase & sales ledgers including responding to business queries.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing month end journal entries.
  • Assisting with inventory management and reconciliations.
  • Assisting Management Accountant with preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthend balance sheet reconciliations and monthly VAT Returns.
  • Responding to queries from auditors, and finance providers as required.
  • Supporting the invoicing process

What you'll need to succeed as a Finance Assistant

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
