- We have a great opportunity for a
New Business Executive to join the team at our Warrington office
- In this role you will:
- Create new business opportunities for the Field Sales Team with the overall objective of supplying Sharp/Partner products, services, and solutions.
- Play a key role in promoting the Sharp brand in the marketplace and in the continued growth of the business.
- Grow a pipeline of new business opportunity, by accurately updating records and building data in customer records in the CRM system.
The role - Manage database efficiently to maximise on potential sales opportunities which in turn will lead to booking a sales meeting/opportunity for the business to sell a product or service.
- Capture and record relevant information to start the sales process and give the field sales operative the best possible opportunity to gain a sale and bring on board a new business customer.
- Share knowledge and experience about products/services and geographical areas, enabling the business to target the right prospects with the right products.
- Book 16 opportunities per month to sell our products and services.
- Developing relationships and build trust with our prospects to consider Sharp as a new supplier of our products and services.
- Continually develop own knowledge, commercial awareness, and skills within the role to grow within the business and be considered for future roles within the business.
- Stay up to date with all business communications to aid with the role. Attend Company events and new product launches.
Person specification
- Previous business development/telesales experience.
- Experience within the Technology Industry is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with long lead times and relationship lead engagements.
- Excellent telephone communication skills, active listening skills and the ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
- Ability to project enthusiastic and positive attitude down the phone.
- Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process.
- Ability to think on your feet and handle objections.
- Ability to consistently hit targets.
- Computer skills are required for efficient documentation and research.
- CRM / database experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
