We design and manufacture hazardous area electrical connectors as well as innovative value-adding position sensor technology enabling smart hydraulic cylinder actuation.

Due to an upcoming retirement an opening for a Surface Mount PCB Assembly Machine Operator has become available.

This is a great opportunity to become a valued part of our SMT Production team and, for the right person, a chance to develop as we grow.

Prior experience of running a surface mount production line is essential,

The role involves but is not limited to the following tasks:

Prepare the paste, stencil, pcb supports and printing equipment.
Setup checks of pick & place machines.
Kit component reels onto relevant feeders.
Operate the reflow oven with the correct profile.
Work meticulously to monitor process variables.
Undertake inline, in process inspection of assembly quality and process consistency.
Complete batch run of PCB assemblies.
Work to our PDC priority system, optimising efficiency.
Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise.
