About the Role
We have a number of fixed term and permanent hybrid working advisor roles across varying teams within Service.

We have roles across Complaints, Smart Metering and Support teams all of which we have listed a small section about below.


Salary:
£26,609 - £30,472 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.


What do I need?
To be considered for our advisor roles, we would love you to have:

  • Previous experience of working within a Customer Service delivery environment.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Attention to detail, resilience, and drive.
  • Organised and selfmotivated to manage individual complaint cases to resolution.
The specifics of each of the roles we have available are listed below:

Customer Support Advisor

Base Location:
Reading or Cardiff


Working Pattern: 6-month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a hybrid roles working a minimum two days a week from the office


What is the Role?


This is an exciting opportunity to join Business Energy and work across various Services workstreams and channels including inbound and outbound telephony.

You will work as part of a team on a multitude of work items based on business priorities and requirements.


As part of your role you will:

  • Ensure enquiries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with the Service teams to provide resource support, you could be supporting across any of our Service teams including Metering, SME Hub, Collections or Back office.
  • You will learn multiple processes across Service and will ensure you remain compliant when carrying out these tasks.

Complaints Advisor

Base Location:
Reading, Cardiff or Perth


Working Pattern:

Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a hybrid roles working a minimum two days a week from the office.


What is the Role?
As a Complaints Advisor you will manage our business customer complaints to resolution through delivering exceptional customer service.

As part of your role you will:

  • Complete the investigation, resolution and reporting of all customer related complaints.
  • Build rewarding relationships with both our external and internal customers, utilising knowledge and feedback to improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and evidence as required.
  • Be the point of contact for operational colleagues, ensuring that the customer is informed of their complaint progress.
  • Monitor all potential claims ensuring mínimal financial impact to the business.

Smart Technical Operations Advisor

Base Location:
Cardiff or Reading


Working Pattern:

Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a hybrid roles working a minimum two days a week from the office.


  • Ensure smart accounts are setup in Evolve, billing correctly, have correct MOP assigned, data collection recorded and ECOES register flag maintained for all supply gains, meter exchanges and new connections
  • Liaise with the DCC around certificates for enrolment and adoption. Liaise with the DCC/third parties around commissioning issues.
  • First point of contact for third parties to help resolve installation and commissioning issues.
  • Provide information and guidance to internal customers on matters relating to smart ensuring that information supplied is accurate, relevant and resolves the request efficiently.
  • Managing smart cos gains ensuring these are setup and the correct MOPs are assigned, updating consent for data collection.
