Aamina Javid

I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) and bring years of international teaching and tutoring experience, including in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and now the UK. With a deep passion for education and student advocacy, I am committed to supporting learners by understanding their challenges and helping them grow both academically and personally.

Having worked across different educational systems, I’ve developed a strong ability to adapt, empathize, and communicate effectively with students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Key skills I bring include active listening, behavioral insight, cross-cultural sensitivity, problem-solving, and a student-centered teaching approach.

My passion for this field stems from my own educational journey—teaching has allowed me to not only give back the knowledge I’ve gained over the years but also evolve into a more thoughtful and responsible educator. As a Pakistani moving into the UK academic space, I am eager to both contribute and learn—especially in understanding the unique challenges students face in different contexts, and how I can best support them to thrive.
