About Aaqil Khan:

I am a student studying automotive engineering in the university of Huddersfield. I am looking for an internship in the middle east where i can grow my skills and put into practice my knowledge in the engineering field.

I provide static guarding and mobile patrolling on sites, housing high value corporate properties. My duties opening and locking corporate buildings, include preventing damage caused by disasters such as fires, floods, accidents as well as theft. I ensure security and safety regulations are met during each shift, keeping occupants and the buildings safe as possible.

Working for an international LIVE sports streaming service, I was responsible for executing the scheduled live events to ensure exact content was broadcasted at the correct time. I monitored the quality of the LIVE stream, through quality controlling all signals in and out of transmission. Reviewed risks such as all possible faults mitigating resolution plans to minimise ‘on-air’ impact.

Over a few years I worked in several areas such as the shop floor, delivery, security and cash tills. I helped organise creative displays for clothing to attract customers. During the store’s busiest periods, such as Christmas, I organised large deliveries (1000+ items. I worked within teams to train new recruits and work towards team sales targets as well as providing excellent customer service to the company’s customers.

Shadowing the head mechanic and aiding in diagnosing problems. Replacing components ensuring safety to all vehicles. Carrying out maintenance work to cars. Ensuring safety regulations are met.
