Risk and Compliance Assistant – Analysis and Reporting 

New Look, Weymouth

Power BI Reporting and Data Analysis - designed and built a Power BI dashboard to visualise off-payroll contractor spend, identifying inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Performed advanced data manipulation to clean, structure, and transform source data for accurate and insightful reporting. Presented key findings to senior HR and FBPs, clearly communicating insights to support strategic decision making. The resulting fall in contractor usage has led to significant cost savings. Regular maintenance and improvement of the dashboard to capture wider insights and address data changes. 

IR35 Compliance and Process Improvement - proactive, continuous reassessment and optimisation of New Look’s IR35 and wider compliance responsibilities, to further mitigate risk and improve efficiencies, protecting business continuity. Effective cross-team collaboration to understand and solve varying conflicts relating differing priorities. Fostered strong working relationships within and across teams, to ensure seamless interactions. 

Management of multiple compliance-related reports - maintained up-to-date, high-quality records. Regularly analysed reports to identify risk areas and highlight opportunities for improvement in both data quality and process efficiency.
