• Responsible for entire event calendar (20+) for the environment sector portfolio achieving 1M+ revenue.
• Operationally led venue management, including sourcing, negotiation, and on-site coordination and responsible for full sales of event tickets, creating weekly marketing plans to delegate to a marketing team of 4.
• Researching and collaborating with the editorial team to create agendas for 15 1-day conferences a year and full speaker management from invitation to on-site delivery. • Creating and successfully maintaining vital industry relationships with event sponsors and managing the communications throughout the event lifecycle.
• Full ownership of individual event budgets, reporting weekly sales to the CFO directly and working collaboratively with finance teams on invoicing and reforecasting.
• Manage and execute award ceremonies with European coverage including end-to-end management of entry process, venue sourcing & management, supplier management (AV, entertainment and video and photo production).
• Independent organisation and delegation of corporate sporting days (Golf & Football).
• Train and manage junior event executives, managing multiple direct reports for 1+ years.
• Self-initiating up-sell for the Event Management as a service, securing new revenue consistently for 2+ years.
