I am a British railway ci apprentice trained technician and have diesel stock and third rail/overhead fed electrical units experience. I was selected at Penzance to be trained up on the virgin voyager fleet prior to entry to railway.
Experience
I was the west of England voyager technician as the second member trained with me left for South Africa. I have joined Freightliner twice as Somerset had class 59s but the staff had never seen a class 66 so I was the new member who oddly was showing staff around the 66s. On class 442s I found and rectified a defect that even swt mr 442 couldn’t find after 4 months.
Education
I have locomotive class 47/57/43/59/66/73 experience and 220/221/153/150 diesel stock as well as class 411,413,421,442,370,390 electric tractio so 750vdc 25kvac. Tilting stock both Alstom and bombardier technician.
