With a decade of industry-leading experience in multi-asset trading platforms, prime brokerage services, and technology solutions, I have successfully grown strategic retail and partnership distribution channels through proprietary application stack development and third-party Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. I have collaborated with global industry regulators, ensuring product usability and best execution ethos while prioritising customer fairness.
In my current role as the Chief Operations Officer at INFINOX, I have directed a global technology and operations team, overseeing payments software development, procurement, service recovery, security posture, and infrastructure for the company's global technology stack. I have implemented root and branch overhauls of internal PMO, SDLC, and ITSM frameworks, enabling comfortable scalability into new territories. Additionally, I have forged strong vendor partnerships across cloud, networking, and messaging specialties, ensuring infrastructure resilience.
Experience
- C-suite role responsible for the software development, procurement (including cost optimisation), service recovery, security posture and infrastructure of the company’s global technology stack.
- Alex directs a global technology team spanning multiple company jurisdictions across software development and production support verticals. In addition, Alex manages key outsourced technology vendor relationships to support the global technology operation.
- Alex owns the development and production framework and overarching governance for the technology division and plays an active role in all regulatory audits, security assessments and ongoing industry standard technology protocols.
- Alex is focussed on the company’s core development activities covering CRM, BI, payment orchestration technologies, native iOS and Android apps, external B2B tools and B2C self service front end UI.
- Exco accountability for the technology response for all internal regulatory functions including Compliance, Treasury, Risk and Legal divisions.
- Implemented a root and branch overhaul of internal PMO, SDLC and ITSM frameworks allowing the business to comfortably scale into new territories incorporating a “follow the sun” approach to full 24 hour technology service recovery.
- Analysed infrastructure vulnerabilities and subsequently entered into long term vendor contracts with multiple enterprise partners across cloud, networking and messaging specialties.
- ExCo technical lead for all global partnership RFP submissions.
- Established new brands for the wider Infinox Group - licensing, office space, budgeting, banks and payment channels.
- Added new Payments technologies accounting for 20 million customer funding per month across Card, APM, Crypto and Banking networks, for all Infinox Group brands.
- Set up and established new offices and cost effective outsourced teams across Infinox Group brands.
- Undertook cost saving projects across payment channels fees, human resourcing and system management, saving 1.5 million USD per annum across the Infinox Group of companies.
- Oversaw the restructuring of Infinox Technology team and hand over from CTO.
- Completed major CRM and client data migration project, a significant programme of works for Infinox Group companies.
- Leadership and oversight of all Operations processes, costs and outsourced services.
