About Alexis Gorton:
With significant and detailed experience in partner management, I have a deep understanding of how to recruit, enable, energise and optimise partners. I have designed and executed partner programs for software resellers and technology / ISV partners, overseen training and enablement, and have driven successful GTM plans that have resulted in significant growth. Throughout my career, I have operated at C-level with a diverse range of organisations including consultancies, developers, MSPs, solution providers, VARs, distributors, ISVs, and big 4 firms, across various industries and sectors. This has enabled me to hone my skills in understanding partner motivations and capabilities while fostering lasting relationships based on trust and collaboration.
Experience
I am a growth focused, MEDDIC trained Partner Manager who has created and implemented reseller and ISV partner programmes, identified, recruited, trained and enabled partners, and driven business development activities to deliver solid results. I have a proven history of recruiting, enabling, developing, and managing partners across the UK and EMEA regions, helping them become more efficient, successful, and profitable.
I thrive in a busy, collaborative environment and have a good track record of hitting revenue targets and building long lasting and successful partner relationships. I have a deep understanding of how to recruit, enable, energise and optimise partners, and have engaged with C-level in a wide range of partners from small consultancies and ISVs to resellers, distributors, GSIs and big 4 accounting firms.
At Brightly I delivered £400k ARR whilst creating long term strategic agreements with key partners, and also devised, delivered and managed the ISV partner programme for our Technology Partners.
At iplicit I created and implemented the channel partner programme and closed the first channel deals for the business.
At Oracle NetSuite I recruited Solution Providers and Alliance Partners across EMEA, consistently hitting ARR targets - resulting in an Oracle Apps Achievement award.
Due to recent redundancy I am actively looking for a new role as a Partner Manager, Channel Manager or Alliance Manager. My mission is to drive partner growth and excellence, help my team and our partners to achieve great success and to deliver the best possible partner experience.
