• Developed modelling and simulation-based methods and data driven techniques to address corneal topography problems
• Created an image processing algorithm capable of encoding and decoding images to detect corneal features produced by corneal topography tools
• Implemented data acquisition techniques which improved the resolution of the data collected for analysis

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Engineering, University of Liverpool

Thesis title: Finite Element Modelling of Retinal Detachment.

• Utilised statistical techniques to interpret data, analyse results, and produce comprehensive reports
• Developed a novel algorithm that is capable of creating the irregular geometry of the eye globe
• Developed a software using MATLAB that automatically creates patient-specific eye models based on clinical data
• Conducted experiments to determine the material properties of the human tissues
