Ali Ahchouch

Hi, my name is Ali, and I am a 22-year-old English teacher. I am currently undergoing my MA in TESOL and applied linguistics, which I will finish in February of 2023. I am currently in the UK, but I am looking to expand my knowledge and experience by traveling and teaching English in many parts of the world. I am incredibly passionate about this field, and while I might be young, I have a lot of drive to work hard and improve as much as possible. 

When it comes to my professional career, I taught both young learners as well as adults. While undergoing my undergraduate degree, I taught primary school students for five months. That was my first teaching experience and the one that made me fall in love with this field. The following experience was in the UK when I decided to participate in the CELTA program. During this course, I got to teach adults with different levels, from elementary to intermediate. This experience gave me a lot of insight into teaching techniques as well as provided me with practical training on top of theory

While I was in morocco, I opted to study applied linguistics at the university of Ben M'sik. On top of that, I also worked on an online TEFL course which was the 120-Hour Premier Online TEFL Course. After finishing both and acquiring my certificate on top of my degree, I decided to pursue my studies in this field which is why I am currently doing my MA in TESOL and applied linguistics at Manchester Metropolitan University. I will finish it on the 6th of February, 2023. During the summer of 2022, I decided to apply for CELTA to get my certificate. I ended up doing in Leeds during august, and i recently received my certificate.
