Legal & Governance Officer | University of Liverpool

Spearheaded compliance initiatives by conducting comprehensive legal research and drafting policy updates to align with evolving legislative requirements, ensuring the university’s adherence to both domestic and international regulatory standards. Established and led monthly strategic meetings with HR and Senior Management teams, conducting in-depth risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies in accordance with Office for Students and QAA quality codes. Conceptualized, developed and launched an institutional training module, “Consumer Protection Law in Academic Institutions” which was implemented across the university, training over 4000 staff members.
