I study a bachelors degree in UCL, where I have chosen to focus on economics and politics in my second year. I take modules including macro economics, where theories of economics in the international sphere are studied helping me better comprehend the world we live in and how markets influence our day to day; learning analytical tools for the future and how to better invest in forthcoming economies. I also take history of economic ideas, which balances macro economics by understanding the past as well as the future. Helping me gain a thorough knowledge of past economic decisions and how they affected countries at that time, both gaining further understanding on how economic thought has developed and attempting not to reproduce the same errors in the future. 

Furthermore, in politics I have taken comparative political analysis which has helped me gain an analytical understanding of various economic policies by comparing countries, this way exploring new research skills and gaining understanding of how economics and politics are intertwined to influence markets. I'm also taking modules on infrastructure and power to gain a systematic understanding of different infrastructures and how these are developed, both technologically and gaining further insight on geopolitics. Finally I have developed my research skill taking politics and society, which is helping me gain knowledge on research in order to create a thorough thesis, with the skills to create a valid quantitative and qualitative report using the correct strategies being and being as efficient as possible. 

Overall, my degree is allowing me to gain further insight on the world we live in and how economic strategies are vital for the prosperity of an entity, helping me understand which policies provide the best outcomes. Whilst at the same time developing my research skill, learning how to be thorough and analytical at the same time, and to be able to provide the most detailed whilst also efficient reports. 

I have done two internships, both providing me with different be fundamental knowledge. I worked as an analyst for Valdeazores S.L. where I developed my excel and powerpoint skills. Furthermore I was able to investigate different strategies, in order to find the best possible outcome, this helped me improve in my research skills discovering new methods and being able to identify the key details when researching different opportunities. It was in these projects where I learnt how to monitor market trends and to examine client trading behaviour. 

I most recently worked in Mon&Pau, which is a small luxury brand.  I was assistant to the CEO, and due to the size of the company I was able to gain thorough understanding of various departments. Both helping with sales, helping with the release of the new collection. And again, developing knowledge in the financial sector, where I had to monitor trends and adapt the companies advertising to them in order to optimize sales, and create bran awareness. Finally I developed my excel abilities further, being in charge on inventory to compile accurate balances, price and cost reports.

At the moment I am education officer in the Spanish and Latin Society of UCL, where I am in charge of organizing the lessons, scheduling the different timetables and creating the presentations. Again making use of excel in order to coordinate all the lessons and ensure the go as planned.
