Experience

I did an internship as a communication intern with a digital marketing firm, where I had my first experience working as a copywriter with multiple brands across industries. Then I went on to work as a freelancer with a few friends, conceptualising and creating content for the social media of small businesses. I then spent over a year at Chimp&Z Inc. (an agency in Mumbai) as their lead copywriter for NMIMS University, writing long-form blogs, campaign content, SEO, YouTube scripts, and emails for 17 schools across 8 campuses. I learned how to write cleverly, quickly, and with strategic intent. This job also came with assisting senior copywriters with notable clients like POGO, Cartoon Network, Discover, Fintech and Saas companies.

Education

I did my Bachelor’s in Mass Media from a reputed university, MIT WPU in India with a year dedicated to advertising specialisation.

With a hope to learn more about advertising and aspirations to work with global clients, I came to the UK for my master’s. I have graduated with my MA in Advertising & Marketing with a merit degree and a distinction in my dissertation from the University of Leeds,
