I studied at Birmingham City University and graduated with an English BA. While there I accumulated a large assortment of practical and applicable skills for a wide range of careers, which is exactly what I had hoped for. I studied a broad range of topics, including journalism, scriptwriting, filmmaking, short story writing, novel writing, poetry, sociolinguistics, and literature. In particular, I developed strong written and verbal communication skills, a deep understanding of language use and meaning, enabling me to explain complex English concepts
clearly to learners, and completed independent research and creative projects, honing skills in time management, critical thinking and collaboration.
