I am an accomplished researcher and writer; and a confident communicator. I am technically versatile and passionate about built heritage.
I have experience in listed building consent applications, building recording and conservation area appraisals. 
Software skills include Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, Excel, Flourish, Tableau (including dashboards), Wordpress, Floorplanner and spreadsheet-driven mapping. 
I have applied for Affiliate status of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation. 
I have a life-long commitment to voluntary work and am now working on the refurbishment of a Grade II* listed site in Heptonstall, West Yorkshire.

Assessing Listed Building Consent applications and planning applications within Conservation Areas.
Appraisal of new and existing Conservation Areas a. This includes building recording and historical research, both district wide and regarding specific sites.
Assessed submissions for a Lancashire-wide local listing project, including photographing, recording and historic research of a wide variety of buildings, with a particular emphasis on textile mills.

Post Graduate Diploma Building Conservation and Adaptation (Distinction). 

This course included training in architectural history, urban regeneration, planning law and the NPPF, assessing significance and writing heritage statements, recording buildings, and conservative repair and adaptation.
