About Andrew Noble:
I am a retired Police Road Traffic Sergeant. When I retired I was in charge of South Yorkshire Police ‘s Serious and Fatal Road Traffic collision unit, responsible for overseeing the thorough and complete investigation of all relevant collisions in the South Yorkshire Police area. This required close liaison with both CPS and H M Coroner of South Yorkshire in order to produce files suitable for the purpose of either prosecution or Inquest . Since retiring I have held the position of warehouse and logistics manager at Barnsley technology company. in this role, apart from ensuring the efficient running of the warehouse, I was responsible for composition of and accompanying custom and excise documentation for overseas orders. I was made redundant from that post during COVID epidemic. Since that time I have maintained a work ethic which has seen me involved in domestic decorating, gardening and landscape projects. I have recently become involved in the coaching of a local under8’s rugby league team. This role requires both patience and the ability to organise the children involved and foster an environment of confidence and self belief. I find this role both humbling and rewarding. I have held a full U.K. driving licence for the last 45 years and am proud to report that I have kept a clean and points free licence for that period. My role with South Yorkshire Police saw me achieve grade 1 advanced Police driving , along with both persuit and VIP training.
Experience
As mentioned in the previous narrative I was qualified as a grade 1 advanced driver with South Yorkshire Police. I was also trained and qualified in both tactical pursuit and VIP convoy driving. As previously mentioned I have held the rank of Police Sergeant with South Yorkshire Police, a role which required me to ensure professional standards whilst also developing both individual and team qualities.
