About Andrew Wilson:

I an a construction superintendent with 22 years experience in the oil & Gas and petrochemical industries. 

I served my time as a pipe fitter then went straight to work in Norway on the construction of the Troll C platform.

After several years working in pipe fitting, fabrication and leak/strength testing I started my HNC in Mechanical Engineering as a self sponsored distance learning student with Teesside University.

In 2008 I started to supervise, first piping teams then onto all black trades. I completed my HNC in 2009.

From 2010 I have been in the role of construction superintendent. Working in Norway, Azerbaijan, UK and Nigeria both on and offshore.

Most recently I was looking after the piping, structural and mechanical sub contractor for a principle contractor working on a LNG to LPG conversion in the South West of England. 

I have experience in on & offshore projects, TARs and conversions. Knowledge of all black trades including rigging & heavy lifting and basic E&I experience. I am fully competent in all aspects of completions systems such as BP's GOC (Guidance on certification).
