Having completed two tours of Afghanistan and one tour of Estonia; Andrew is an experienced Artillery soldier; most
recently operating as a Battery Commander’s assistant. He is relied on as a subject matter expert on the technical and
tactical employment of battlefield assets specialising in Fire Support Teams and Forward Support for which he has 17
years’ experience and has achieved Level 5 Battery Commanders Assistant qualification, the highest level available
within his trade. On deployment, Andrew coordinates precise timing of Artillery assets that are crucial to mission

high level, contributing to the organisations objectives.
Andrew manages a Troop of thirty soldiers; he is accustomed to conducting mid-year and annual reports to ensure
personal and professional development to produce an efficient and effective team. Each subordinate is advised on
areas they excel but also key areas of improvement and advised on what steps are required for the individual to

regimental re-trading to precision fires and qualified as a Level 4 Detachment Commander within just 2 years.
Andrew carried out various deployments with the platform including working with RAFAEL and THALES; the role
allowed him to gain valuable insight into the organisations procurement procedures and future operational outputs.
Charity has been something Andrew has taken a recent interest in raising money for; specifically Combat Stress where
