Aniqa Lasker

In pursuit or more creative endeavours, I was very excited to find the editorial assistant role post at your company. As a progressive professional who has always had an interest, passion and skill for writing, I would love to have the opportunity to showcase these qualities.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Radiography and I am currently working as a Senior MRI radiographer in both Marylebone and Harley Street. During my time there I have undertaken many responsibilities which are transferrable to any work field. This included working closely with clients to make sure their needs are met, training new staff and executing multiple clerical tasks as assigned. Working in such a fast paced, intense environment I have also demonstrated numerous times that I am a great team player with excellent time management skills and the important ability to function well independently and in a team setting. I believe with my qualifications, qualities and clinical background I can bring a unique perspective and valuable knowledge to the team and would be a great contribution to your organisation.

I am currently undertaking an internship at Klarity Health as an Editor of health articles which are published on a weekly basis. This allows me to continuously progress in the field and provides a deeper understanding an insight into what is involved in the process of producing health articles.

I am also currently just finishing the completion of my Medical writing diploma with James Lind Institute which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I believe this diploma has equipped me the knowledge and skills to allow me to excel as a Medical writing intern and makes me a very strong candidate for the opportunity. 

I am currently working as a Senior MRI Radiographer in a busy MRI department across two sites, Harley Street and Marylebone. Alongside performing MRI scans of high quality, I am very adept at multi-tasking, have strong organisation skills as I am currently responsible for ensuring smooth workflow, dealing with queries and urgent requests from referrers. In doing so, I have also honed my skills in effective communication, professional resilience, attention to detail and a further understanding of prioritising the management of patient’s needs and ensuring the patient’s safety, all whilst meeting these deadlines. I believe these skills are transferrable in any job role including this role in particular.
