I'm originally from Sweden and moved to Scotland a few years ago to work remotely as a Senior Automation Engineer at a consulting company based in the UK. As a consultant, I have worked for clients in different countries and delivered automation solutions in various departments, such as HR, IT, finance, retail, logistics, and insurance.

My experience includes the whole life-cycle of delivering an automation process, from process discovery to designing and installing the necessary infrastructure, development, testing, and deploying the finished automation through the cloud or on-prem. Additionally, I am familiar with various automation tools and solutions, including:

• UI automation built through low-code tools such as UiPath and Automation Anywhere
• Source editor solutions using Python, VB, PowerShell and C# to achieve system and text automation or integration
• Hyperautomation using conversational AI and NLP

I don't believe there's one solution that fits all needs, and including an evaluation on which automation solution to use is an important part of when I analyse a process.

Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer, Roboyo, UK

Focused on the whole automation life cycle for client projects in departments such as HR, Insurance and IT, developing and leading their automation journey. My internal responsibility in the company includes lead advisor for conversational AI in the Nordics, and Device handler of the UK area.

As an Automation Engineer at the start-up AKOA, I worked with two of our biggest clients to help them in their automation journey. My internal responsibility within the company included being the Custom Code Sub Practice lead, which was responsible for setting up maintenance, documentation, and frameworks for code-based automation.

Web Developer & Research assistant, RISE SICS East, Sweden

Focused on implementing the front end of a website and optimizing their synonym generator TeCST. The website is made for web editors to write texts that are easier to understand to facilitate for people with reading disabilities. The website uses NLP which tells you how hard the text is to read and gives the writer hints on how to make the text easier. My work consisted of the following:

• Web development using libraries as Jquery, node.js and React
• Integration with the Django backend
• Researching methods for automatic generation of synonyms.
• Write a research report.

• Focused on programming, AI and human-machine interactions
• Active member of the robotics club, where my main focus was on the NLP engine powering the speech features of the robots.
• Led and participated in a quantitative study about gender biases towards robots, which was published by the Association for Computing Machinery.
