Annabelle Darlington

I am a highly motivated and determined individual who thrives under pressure. As hard-working as I am, I also love life and take a relaxed and bubbly approach to everything I pursue. Being a part of a strong spirited team is important to me as I am friendly and motivating to those around me. 
 

I am a recent graduate of my Bachelors‘s degree in Advertising & Marketing and also my Master’s degree in Media & Cultural Studies at Lancaster University. Throughout my experience at university I have engaged in several pursuits which has aided Me with skills to take into any working environment. As a sports enthusiast, I have Captained the University Women’s Football Team as well as my Netball Team. Alongside this I have been part of various executive committees and overseen the social media channels for different societies. Coming out with a First in my degree has been one of many highlights over the past couple of years. Having gained my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award which required canoeing in Sweden for 7 nights and wild camping, this experience demanded mental and physical resilience, which was the most rewarding achievement to date.

 Furthermore, having worked in numerous industry areas over the 4 years has also allowed me to gain relevant experience in the fields I want to pursue a career in. alongside my degree studies, I have also gained my Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Training diploma as I have always wanted to extend my knowledge and passion for helping others regarding all things health and wellness and reaching their goals. 

I have 4 years experience working in the Hospitality industry, serving different roles to accompany the successful delivery of exceptional levels of customer experience.

I have aided and assisted in the project that required social listening, content publishing, demographic targeting and organic and paid influencer identification for an online digital company.

I have worked as a Student Ambassador for Lancaster University, requiring exceptional levels of commitment and extensive knowledge of the university. 
 

I have 2 years experience of running different social media platforms for societies within the university to engage users and increase the positive image of the society while initiating charitable events and assisting in the organisation of elections. 
 

I have ran a side personal training business for 1 year helping others to reach their goals mentally and physically. Educating others and helping others get the best out of life is something I consider to be the most rewarding.
