Annie Wood

I am an experienced motion graphic designer and video editor, looking for my next career challenge. 

I previously was a Motion Designer and Video Editor UNICEF UK, Global Children’s charity. 

• In this role, I led creative production for social media edits in paid, organic, and DRTV contexts, utilising UNICEF's global library of footage, and created motion graphic deliverables adhering to UNICEF UK brand guidelines. 
• Contributed to building efficient MOGRT templates for streamlined in-house content production elements such as lower 3rds/ end cards etc. 
• I developed long-form video and animation content for UNICEF’s philanthropy partners about current projects and partnerships, such as Rights Respecting Schools, The Eleva foundation , ARM and Formula E. 
• I also Played a vital role in creating content responding to global emergencies, ensuring quick turnarounds during crises like the Moroccan earthquake and the Gaza conflict.
   

Prior to UNICEF I was a senior designer at Revealing Reality, a multidisciplinary social research agency that undertakes a range of work striving for positive change.

• A role as an all rounded visual storyteller. As a senior designer within the production team, I took a lead on all animation projects and motion graphics for film. I also have an extensive graphic design and illustration experience within the team, adapting and striving to create the best deliverables suited for the range of clients and projects.
• As a senior in our team, I delivered hands on mentoring for design principles across the organisation and developing junior creative team members, running company wide Drawing workshops to help the wider research team with transferable creative skills, strategy and visual thinking.
• As lead animator, I helped the production team with the proposal processes and pitching to potential clients.
• The client projects I have worked on span companies such as the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Essex County council, Fair by design, BBC, Elevate children, British Red Cross, HIN, NHS, 5rights and Ofcom (to name a few!)

I have a BA in graphic communication and illustration from Loughborough university.
