I’m a motivated, organised and helpful person who enjoys working and communicating with other people, whether that is customers or colleagues. A sympathetic and caring attitude to support those who need care and help. I have lots of experience in customer service, working with customers, with other team members and in busy environments.

Volunteering – British Heart Foundation (October 2019 – May 2021): I volunteered at the ‘British Heart Foundation’ charity shop for two years. Here, I mainly work on the sales floor. Some of my roles include being a sales assistant, till operator, gift aid volunteer and a stock processor behind the scenes.

Sales assistant – Through this role I was able to meet and greet people and deliver good customer service. As well as serving customers, I keep the sales floor well-presented and generally make the store a friendly and welcoming place with enthusiasm.

Till operator – Here I could deal with enquiries of the customers and process transactions through the till with a polite and friendly attitude.

Gift aid volunteer – With my communication skills, I sign customers up to the gift aid scheme to help raise more vital funds from donations we receive. 

Stock processor – Through this role I select and prepare the best quality items that have been donated from individuals or businesses so that we can sell them on the shop floor. 

KFC Team Member (June 2021-September 2021):

I worked in KFC as a team member for four months. Here I carried out many different roles such as operating the till and taking orders from customers, packing delivery, takeaway and eat-in orders, working in a drive-through, opening the store, handling product deliveries and taking responsibility of keeping the lobby clean and presentable for customers. I believe that I gained many skills such as working in an extremely fast-paced and busy environment, working in a team, problem-solving and till-operating. 

Domino’s Team Member (June 2022 – September 2022):

I was a team member at KFC for three and a half months. I mainly worked on serving customers on the till and via telephone, making and topping pizzas, and packing them for delivery. I was able to improve on my customer service skills, till operation, team working, problem solving and dealing with busy rush hours at work.

Cardiff University (2021-present) - I am currently studying at Masters of Pharmacy at Cardiff University. I am currently in the second year of my course. I’m expected to complete my degree in 2025 and complete a pre-registration year in 2026.
