Antoni Strachan Flotats

I am an experienced global traveller with 14 flights in 7 days being my current record. I have spoken to the Iban Tribesmen in Borneo and have watched their longhouses being converted to palm oil plantations for corporations such as Nutella. I have seen, from the locals going out to fish before sunset and watched them return with their catch before sunrise, to erecting stalls along the streets and the beach to sell products to the growing demand of tourists. I have witnessed the development of the ‘westernisation model’ throughout Southeast Asia since 2000 onwards, and have also seen countries and cities combating pollutions, as well as tourism. From Singapore’s green gardens and green terraces to walkways for animal crossings. I have played a role in, educating employees on sustainability and in particular waste management, and I have spoken to 60 years plus customers since I was 5. 

I am a person that has worked 98h plus work weeks, that has endured 7 hours sledgehammering stakes for a bungee dome, and that has woken up before all customers and staff and has been the last person before sleeping. I have been entrusted with the care of over 400 global elite athletes at endurance events and I have worked in cross-functional departments and collaborated and led multilanguage teams. I am marketing and revenue growth focused and I like to set goals and see the happiness of both customers and staff. Whilst working in eventing I mastered the ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment, and in construction I learned the importance of being a cohesive force. 

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan in which a national in both, and have worked in several different sectors already when considering my age. I Have a passion to learn all that life can throw and finding solutions to problems as well as a thirst for new experiences. In my free time I read, do both team and individual sports and outdoor activities. I am a supporter of wildlife, development, and technology.
