  • Worked to develop research assays, with performance comparable to clinical assays using the ELISA and Meso Scale Discovery Platform. 
  • Liaised closely with research groups across the Addenbrooke's Campus including the Institute of Metabolic Sciences, Cambridge Institute for Medical Research, Cancer Research UK and the MRC Epidemiology Unit.
  • Trained less experienced members of staff in all aspects of laboratory practice. 
  • Carried out laboratory ‘superuser’ tasks for EPIC LIMS applications which control reporting of clinical results and handling of patient information. 
  • Maintained stock levels of reagents and consumables.
  • Compiled patient and research reports using Microsoft office programs, including Excel and Word.
