A dedicated and creative individual with a passion for playful and exciting concepts, whilst always considering a sustainable and ethical practice. Knowledge is held on aspects including, but not limited to, fashion design, garment construction/upcycling, e-commerce, and copywriting.

Experience

At present, I am a Garment Creation Manufacturer for a sustainability based fashion brand. We take donated textiles, such as curtains and bedding, and create desirable garments, with the aim to move towards a more circular fashion economy, all whilst supporting Daisy Chain and its autism services.

Within this job role I undertake various tasks, including:

  • Pattern cutting

  • Description copywriting
  • Listing products to website, using SEO techniques
  • Ensuring sustainable practice and documenting textile usage

Education

 During my time at Northumbria University, where I gained a fashion degree, I developed knowledge and experience in: design, illustration, Adobe, pattern cutting, sewing, and commercial awareness.
