I was a labourer in a 2 man gang for 2 years helping with felt and battening, loading, slating or tiling and finally, a bit of ridging. I later managed to move up to lead a two man gang undertaking mainly slate roofs with tiles jobs wrapped up too. From gables, vertical and hips with many features like abutments, valleys, veluxes and solar panels completed with a bit of led knowledge included too.

• General labouring including keeping the site clean and tidy
• Cleaning crib hut, stock take and organise storing containers
• Signing for and unloading delivers including kitchens, skirting and architrave, stairs, pre made timber frame panels and wall and floor tiles
• Setting up and deconstructing rhino deck fall protection and fall bags
• Fixing small trade snags including air bricks, filling sole plates, guttering and roof tiles

• General labourer for several small projects including a small bungalow renovation
• During employment I laid drainage, stitch drilled out space for lintel and window from wall and hand dug footing for small extension
• Helping refurbish and clean up workshop

March 2015 to December 2016

• I worked on two long term projects; one being a compleat house build from foundations to finish. The second being a high end house extension in portreath, again from start to finish
• I was working with two masons tending them while building and plastering and then all the inside finishing
• I was undertaking digging foundations, general masonry, blockwork, painting, cleaning up site, taking delivers and checking orders.
• Mixing up mortar, plaster, render, adhesives and other mixes
