I am an energetic and reliable first year Biomedical Engineering student studying at Queen Mary University of London. I thrive on creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. By coupling my strong team-oriented approach with problem-solving, I believe I will be an asset to the collaborative work setting. Eager to brighten the days of customers, I am seeking a barista position where I can continue to grow and develop my skills in coffee craftsmanship.

• Worked alongside teachers and peers to plan improvements and organize events for the school. To facilitate this, I led meetings with the student leadership team and considered the opinions of the student body. I was able to judge when to lead and when to work as a team member.
• Working with my peers within the student leadership team to represent the academy during open days. This experience developed my delegative and event planning skills. I welcomed visitors and ensured they were comfortable, tending to their needs and answering any queries. 
• Academically mentoring and supporting younger students that were approaching their examination period.

• Observed junior doctors during ward rounds and in theatre. I had the opportunity to perceive how healthcare professionals work in a multidisciplinary team. This highlighted the significance collaborative culture by bringing together specialized knowledge from various disciplines to tackle complex problems.

• Collaboratively worked in the opportunities and strategies team to co found a project that eliminates the public’s understanding of the homeless. 
• Fundraised £600 in the span of two weeks, dividing the money evenly between three local homeless shelters. This helped me foster persuasive communication, learning how to pitch ideas effectively and present fundraising initiatives to convince potential customers.
