Administrative team consists of both staff and students from the department. • General admin such as taking meeting minutes, file organisation, and assembling agendas. • Developing creative media such as posters and social media posts. • Arranging speakers, workshops, and networking events on a weekly basis.

DCR is a governing body that represents all sixteen college boat clubs at Durham University. • Organised inter-collegiate races and social functions like the Durham College Rowing Fundraising Ball. • Collected up to £5000 of pre-existing debt to the organisation and gathered finances to pay up to £9000 that was owed upon my start to the role. • Restructured the method of invoicing and successfully introduced payment deadlines. • Established a new rowing club under DCR, Senate Boat Club. Arranged insurance, affiliation, and finances for the club. • Initiated Friday Morning Pieces. Closed the river for all colleges on a monthly basis and coordinated race practice.
Boat Yard Assistant & Receptionist | York Marina Mar 2023 - Sep 2023
Private 300-berth marina. • Executed boat hire handovers: communicated a safety briefing to customers and taught them how to drive small leisure boats and speed boats. • Reception work: answered phone calls, made bookings for the lodges and caravans, scheduled boat lifts and viewings, and invoiced customers for marina services. Manned the chandlery till, advised customers in the shop, and cashed up. • Boat manoeuvring, maintenance, and cleaning.
