Bethany Lennon

I am currently studying at Solihull Sixth Form - media, film and sociology. I would love to break in to the media industry in the future! Currently, I am looking for part-time work in order to gain valuable skills that I will take with me in university and the workplace.

Although I have not had any official contracted work, I have gained valuable experience on two instances.

Royal Star Care Home:

I completed 2 weeks of work experience at this care home as an all-rounder - my role included serving food, setting up for dinner service, taking laundry from the cleaners and into the individual rooms. This experience taught me how much upkeep goes into a job and how important your actions can affect others. Because I was working around people with dementia, I had to be very careful and cautious in everything I did. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and felt great pride in helping those in need - I sometimes still think about some of the people in the home and I hope they are all well.

Renewal Church: 

As a member of this Church I was invited to join the Media & Communications team. This taught me so many valuable skills, especially in teamwork. It helped me understand that you must complete your tasks on time and to the best of your abilitity, because everybody is working together. This experience also matched with my own personal passions.

Currently studying at Solihull Sixth Form. My predicted grades are A* A  A
